From Maker Movement to Industrial Revolution

Come hear the visionary Chris Anderson, author of New York Times best selling book- Makers: The New Industrial Revolution, speak about how the maker movement (digital tinkering) is scaling up to create a new class of manufacturing entrepreneurship.  Anderson’s talk will include:

·      The democratization of industrial tools

·      The web’s open innovation model

·      Cloud manufacturing

·      The smartphone revolution

And how all of the above- cheap and easy access to manufacturing technology- are driving the next wave of innovation in physical things

About Chris Anderson:  Anderson is currently the Editor in Chief of Wired Magazine and CEO of 3D Robotics.  He is author of the New York Times bestselling books, The Long Tail and Makers:  The New Industrial Revolution.  Prior, Anderson was Technology Editor and US Business Editor for The Economist.
